You can see your invitation exactly as guests will before you send a single one. The main preview lives on the Review step of the editor, and after you've sent, a Guest view button opens the real thing.
The Review step preview
The last step in the editor, Review, isn't a checklist — it's the actual guest page shown inside a phone frame. The heading says it plainly: "What your guests will see." It's the real thing, envelope and all — the closed envelope, the reveal, the card, your details, and the RSVP, all playing exactly as a guest would experience them on their phone.
- Tap Refresh preview to reload it after making changes.
- The preview reflects your latest saved design, so if something looks stale, refresh — your edits autosave a moment after you make them.
Because it's the genuine guest page (not a mock-up of one), it's the best way to catch anything before sending: a wrong date, a blank venue, a note that reads oddly, or an envelope color you want to change.
Editing is its own live preview
While you're on the Design step, the card on screen is a live rendering — every wording, color, image, and background change shows immediately. The Background and Style panels update the card as you pick options, so you rarely have to guess. On phones, floating zoom and undo controls keep your design front and center.
Viewing it after you've sent
Once your invitation is live, your event's host desk gains a Guest view button (an eye icon) that opens the real guest page in a new tab — handy for a final look or to check something a guest mentioned. This appears after sending, alongside the Share button.
Previewing a draft vs. a sent invitation
- Before you send, your guest link isn't live yet, so the Review step's in-editor preview is how you check everything.
- After you send, the invitation is live at its link, and Guest view (and the shareable link) let you and your guests open it directly. See Sharing your invitation link.
Common questions
How do I see what my guests will actually see? Go to the Review step in the editor. It shows the real guest page — envelope, card, details, and RSVP — inside a phone frame.
Does the preview include the envelope-opening animation? Yes. The Review preview mirrors what a real guest sees, including the closed envelope and the reveal. See The envelope and opening experience.
My preview looks out of date — how do I refresh it? Tap Refresh preview on the Review step. The preview reflects your last saved design, and edits save automatically a moment after you make them.
Can I preview before I pay or send? Yes. The Review preview is available while your invitation is still a draft — no payment needed to look. You only pay when you send (see Send your invitations).
Can I send myself a test? Use the Review preview to check everything first. After sending, you can open the live invitation yourself with Guest view or the shared link.
