Every payment you make for an event is saved with a receipt and a downloadable invoice, so you always have a record. Here's where to find them and what each one shows.

Your receipt email

The moment a payment completes, InviteBird emails a receipt with the subject "Your InviteBird receipt" and your order number. It confirms your payment, names what you bought and for which event, and has a branded PDF invoice attached for your records.

If you used a gift card or a coupon, the email shows the full breakdown — the list price, each discount as its own line, and the Total paid — so you can see exactly how the final amount was reached.

Billing history on the event

Every settled payment for an event is listed on that event's Home tab, under Billing, settled (the Receipts panel). It appears once the event has at least one completed payment, and shows a running Total paid across everything you've bought for that event.

Each row shows:

  • What it was — for example, "Event plan — Soar," "Plan upgrade — Flight," "500-photo album," or "Album hosting renewal." Other one-time purchases appear as "Purchase."
  • When — the date of the payment.
  • The order number — in the form IB-YYYY-XXXXXXXX, the same reference on your emailed receipt.
  • An Invoice PDF button — downloads the branded invoice, the same document our team sees.

If a payment was refunded, the row is marked Refunded and the amount is shown struck through.

The PDF invoice

The downloadable invoice is a clean, branded PDF that lists who it's billed to, the event, an itemized description of what you bought, and the total paid. It's built for filing and expenses — every purchase has one, and you can re-download it from the Receipts panel any time.

The invoice itemizes the products you paid for and the amount actually charged. The line-by-line discount view — list price, coupon, and gift-card savings — lives in your receipt email, so keep that email if you need the discount breakdown for your records.

What shows up here

Purchases you make from InviteBird produce a receipt and appear in your billing history: your event plan, plan upgrades, the 500-photo pack, album hosting renewals, the keepsake bundle, and the unlimited nudges & reminders unlock. Buying an InviteBird gift card also sends the buyer a receipt.

Two things do not appear in an event's billing history:

  • Gifts from guests — guests give through your own payment apps or registries, so InviteBird never sees them and they don't appear here. See Gifts & Funds for hosts.
  • Business plan subscriptions — these are annual subscriptions billed to your account rather than to a single event.

Common questions

Where do I find my invoice? On the event's Home tab, in the Billing, settled panel — each row has an Invoice PDF button. It's also attached to your receipt email.

What's my order number, and where is it? It looks like IB-2026-ABCD2345 and appears on your receipt email and next to each row in your billing history. Have it handy if you contact us about a charge.

My receipt shows a discount but the PDF doesn't — why? The full discount breakdown (list price, coupon, gift card) is in the receipt email. The PDF invoice itemizes what you bought at the amount actually charged. Both are correct; keep the email if you need the discount detail.

I don't recognize a charge. Open the Receipts panel or your receipt email to see exactly what it was for. If it still doesn't look right, contact us with the order number and a real person will review it.

Can I get a refund? It depends on what was purchased and when. See Payments, receipts, and refunds for the full policy.

The Payments page, rebuilt

Dashboard → Payments is your money ledger: every order across your events — plan purchases, upgrades, gift cards, and add-ons — grouped by year with totals, each carrying its IB receipt number and a Download button for the branded PDF receipt. Paid, refunded, and pending orders are labeled clearly. The Refer & earn panel and any records from the earlier billing system live on the same page.
