InviteBird is priced per event, not per month. You design, build your guest list, and preview everything for free, then pay once — when you send. Every plan includes every feature. The only thing that changes between plans is how many guests it covers.
What every plan includes
From the smallest plan to the largest, you get exactly the same features:
- Premium designs — every template and every animation
- RSVP and replies — one link collects it all
- Guest messaging — email and text, host to guest
- Menus, seating, and polls — from dinner picks to trivia night
- Day-of tools — the check-in kiosk and the photo wall
- A 100-photo album — hosted a full year, and guests upload free
- A matching thank-you card — ready to send the day after the event
- No ads — ever
Nothing is metered and nothing is held back on smaller plans. The size of your guest list is the only dial.
The plan ladder
Plans are sized by how many guests you expect at the door, and plus-ones count toward that number. Founding-host pricing is currently 50% off while we launch, so each plan shows its regular price struck through beside the current one.
| Plan | Guests | Price | Regular | Per guest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nest | up to 25 | $9.99 | $19.99 | ≈ $0.40 |
| Hatch | up to 50 | $24.99 | $49.99 | ≈ $0.50 |
| Flight | up to 100 | $49.99 | $99.99 | ≈ $0.50 |
| Soar | up to 250 | $89.99 | $179.99 | ≈ $0.36 |
| Open Sky | up to 750 | $149.99 | $299.99 | ≈ $0.20 |
| Horizon | unlimited | $349.99 | $699.99 | — |
Soar is our most popular plan, and the per-guest rate keeps falling as the plans get larger. On the pricing page, a guest-count slider highlights the plan that fits the crowd you type in, so you can see your price before you commit to anything.
When you pay
Design your invitation, build your guest list, and preview everything for free. Your card is charged only at the moment you send, and that single payment covers the whole event. There is no host subscription for these per-event plans — you never pay again for the same event unless you deliberately add an upgrade or an add-on later.
The 10-guest cushion
Every plan includes a free 10-guest cushion above its size, so a few surprise guests never lock you out. Nest, for example, covers 25 guests and quietly holds up to 35 before anything pauses. If your list grows past your plan plus that cushion, the guest list pauses and you move up one size for only the price difference — your sent invitations are untouched and nothing is re-charged. See Upgrading your plan and What counts as a guest.
Optional add-ons
Add-ons are always one-time and never automatic. You buy them from the event itself, when you want them:
- 500-photo album — room for 500 photos instead of 100, $25 one time
- Keep the album live — after the included first year, $9.99 a year ($25 a year once you have the 500-photo album)
- Keepsake bundle — an extra album year, the 500-photo pack, and a printable guest-book PDF, $34.99
- Unlimited nudges & reminders — for Nest and Hatch, a $2.99 unlock per event that covers both: unlimited nudges (sent by hand from Home) and unlimited automatic reminders. Flight and larger include both already. See Resending invitations, RSVP reminders and nudges.
See Photo pack and album hosting and the Keepsake bundle for the full picture.
Business plans
For venues, planners, schools, and anyone running many events, annual business plans cover a year of events with unlimited guests on each, and albums stay live for as long as you are subscribed:
- Perch — 10 events a year, $250
- Colony — 25 events a year, $500
- Aviary — 50 events a year, $1,000
- Sky — unlimited events, $2,000
These are the exception to per-event pricing — they renew yearly until you cancel. Full details are in Business plans.
Common questions
How much does InviteBird cost? It starts at $9.99 for an event of up to 25 guests and scales by guest count up to $349.99 for an unlimited event. You pay once, at send — there is no monthly fee for hosting an event.
Do plus-ones count toward my plan? Yes. Plans are sized by guests at the door, and each plus-one counts as a guest. A list of 20 named guests who each bring one is 40 guests for pricing. See What counts as a guest.
Are features locked on the cheaper plans? No. Every feature ships with every size, from Nest to Horizon. The guest count is the only difference.
What if more people come than my plan holds? You have a free 10-guest cushion first. Past that, the guest list pauses and you move up a size for just the difference — nothing is re-charged and your sent invitations stay exactly as they are.
Is there a free plan? Building is always free. You can design, choose a template, build your guest list, and preview the whole thing without paying — you only pay when you send it out.
Can I pay with a gift card or coupon? Yes. You can apply an InviteBird gift card, a coupon, or a referral code at checkout. See Gift cards and codes.
